Ahmad bin Salih Al-Jalili: Trustworthy
Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani: His father was an early convert to Islam, so he migrated to Abyssinia, where he was born. He memorized from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and from Umar and others. His son Al-Harith narrated from him, as well as Nafi', Sulayman bin Yasar, and others.
Jalal Al-Din Al-Suyuti: He was born in Abyssinia, and it was said that he saw the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. He read the Qur'an to Ubayy bin Ka'b, and heard from Umar, Ibn Abbas, his father Ayyash, and others. His slave Abu Ja'far Al-Qari', Yazid bin Ruman, Shaiba, Muslim bin Jundub, and others read to him. His son Al-Harith, Nafi' - the slave of Ibn Umar, Sulayman bin Yasar, and a group narrated from him.
