Abu Hatim al-Razi: Trustworthy, it was said to him: Authority? He said: If Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, Malik ibn Anas and Usamah ibn Zaid narrate from him, then he is an authority.
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: One of the pious people of Medina who was concerned with collecting and writing, then he adhered to religion and little narration. He said in al-Thiqat: He narrates from Abu Salama and Abu Ayyash al-Zarqi, and Malik and the people of Medina narrated from him.
