Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jarjani: Generally, what he narrates is not followed
Abu Hafs Umar ibn Shahin: He is alright (acceptable)
Ahmad ibn Shu'aib al-Nasa'i: He is not trustworthy
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Acceptable
Authors of Tahdhib al-Tahdhib: Truthful, good in hadith. And Yahya ibn Ma'in's saying "He is not anything" might mean he narrates few hadiths. This does not necessitate his weakness according to him
Yahya ibn Ma'in: He differed about him. He said: He is not anything. And once: He is upright
