Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: He authenticated him and said: His hadith is considered acceptable, though not frequently narrated.
Ahmad ibn Shu'ayb al-Nasa'i: He is not that strong.
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Saduq (truthful), but he has some mistakes.
Ali ibn al-Madini: He narrated Munkar (rejected) Hadiths from Sa'id.
Muhammad ibn Isma'il al-Bukhari: Thiqah (reliable)
Authors of Tahdhib al-Tahdhib: Saduq Hasan al-Hadith (truthful, good in Hadith) at the very least, and he is closer to being authenticated.
