Abu Ahmad Al-Hakim: Most of his narrations are from Yahya bin Abi Kathir, and they are not accurate.
Abu Ahmad bin Adi Al-Jurjani: His narrations are upright if narrated from a trustworthy source.

Ahmad bin Salih Al-Masri: Trustworthy, I consider him and his sayings as evidence.
Ishaq bin Ahmad bin Khalaf Al-Bukhari: Trustworthy, but he made many mistakes and narrated unique hadiths.
Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani: Truthful, makes mistakes, and his narrations from Yahya bin Abi Kathir are inconsistent. He did not have a book. Another time, he said: Famous, but there are disagreements about him.
Al-Daraqutni: Trustworthy. Ibn Hajar mentioned in Tabaqat Al-Mudallisun that he described him as concealing information.
Al-Dhahabi: Trustworthy except in Yahya bin Abi Kathir, where he is inconsistent. Another time, he said:

Muhammad bin Ismail Al-Bukhari: Inconsistent in the narration of Yahya bin Abi Kathir, and he did not have a book. He mentioned Al-Suhaymi's lineage.
Muhammad bin Ammar Al-Mawsili: He considered him trustworthy, except in his narration from Yahya bin Abi Kathir. Another time, he said: Trustworthy, I have not heard anything but good about him.
Authors of Tahrir Taqrib al-Tahdhib: Trustworthy, except in his narration from Yahya bin Abi Kathir, which is weak due to his inconsistency in it.

Yahya bin Sa'id Al-Qattan: He weakened him in hadiths narrated from Yahya bin Abi Kathir. Another time, he said: He authenticated a hadith. And another time: His narrations are weak, he is not among the accurate narrators.
Yahya bin Ma'in: Trustworthy and established. He once said: Truthful, there is nothing wrong with him. And another time: Trustworthy, they write down his hadiths. And another time: Ayub bin Utbah was asked, 'Who is dearer to you, you or Akrama bin Amar?' He said, 'Akrama is dearer to me.'
