Abu Hatim ibn Habban al-Basti: He used to believe in Qadar
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Saduq (truthful) but accused of being a Qadari
Zakariya ibn Yahya al-Saji: He was a Qadari and weak. The trustworthy narrators did not narrate from him.
Muhammad ibn Isma'il al-Bukhari: He included him among the weak narrators, and once said: 'He speaks about Qadar'
