Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: He narrated from al-A'mash Hadiths that are salih (good) and mustaqim (straightforward), and I did not see in his Hadiths munkar (rejected), if a trustworthy narrator narrates from him
Abu Hatim al-Razi: He is not from the meticulous ones, his Hadiths are written down
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: He mentioned him among the trustworthy narrators
Abu Dawud al-Sijistani: He does not know how to tell the truth, so how can he lie? We stop at the mistake in his book, and when he reaches that point, he makes a mistake
Abu Zar'a al-Razi: Saduq (truthful)
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: He was not from the companions of Hadith, he was very forgetful
Ahmad ibn Shu'ayb al-Nasa'i: There is nothing wrong with him
