Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: He mentioned him among the weak narrators, saying that he narrated Munkar (rejected) hadiths from Maymun ibn Mihran which no one else narrated, and he is not followed by any of the trustworthy narrators.
Abu Hatim al-Razi: His hadiths are abandoned.
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Basti: He also mentioned him among the weak and unreliable narrators, and said: He was one of those who attributed hadiths to the trustworthy narrators and narrated fabricated things from the reliable ones. It is not permissible to mention him in books except for criticism, and narrating from him is only for the purpose of consideration by the scholars of Hadith in particular, not others.
Abu Zur'a al-Razi: He is a liar.
Abu 'Abd Allah al-Hakim al-Naysaburi: He narrated fabricated hadiths from Maymun ibn Mihran and others.
Abu 'Isa al-Tirmidhi: Very weak in Hadith.
Abu Nu'aym al-Asbahani: He narrates fabricated reports from Maymun ibn Mihran and others.
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: One-eyed, liar, wicked, fabricates Hadith.
Ahmad ibn Sa'd ibn Abi Maryam: Someone other than Yahya ibn Ma'in told me that the people agreed to reject these few, their Hadiths are not mentioned nor are they relied upon, among them is Muhammad ibn Ziyad.
Ahmad ibn Shu'ayb al-Nasa'i: His Hadiths are abandoned, and once: He is a liar.
Ahmad ibn Salih al-Jili: His Hadiths are abandoned.
Ibrahim ibn Ya'qub al-Jawzajani: A lying, wicked man.
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: They accused him of lying.
Al-Daraqutni: He is a liar, and once: His Hadiths are abandoned.
Zuhayr ibn Harb al-Nasa'i: His Hadiths were criticized.
Ali ibn al-Madini: I wrote a book about him and then I threw it away, once: He severely weakened him.
Amr ibn Zurarah: He is accused of fabricating Hadith.
Amr ibn 'Ali al-Fallas: His Hadiths are abandoned, a liar, a denier of Hadith.
Muhammad ibn Isma'il al-Bukhari: His Hadiths are abandoned.
Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allah ibn al-Barqi': He mentioned him among the class of liars.
Yahya ibn Ma'in: He is nothing, a liar, and once: He used to fabricate Hadith, and once: A lying, wicked man.
