Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: He has a sound hadith from Thawri, and he has narrated some strange things from Thawri. I hope he is fine (reliable).
Abu al-Faraj ibn al-Jawzi: He narrated what was not from his hearing, so they abandoned him. Al-Dhahabi said: No one abandoned him.
Abu Bakr al-Bayhaqi: He is not strong.
Abu Hatim al-Razi: Saduq (truthful).
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: He may have made mistakes.
Abu Dawud al-Sijistani: Thiqah (reliable).
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: He made many mistakes.
Ahmad ibn Salih al-Jili: Thiqah (reliable).
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Saduq (truthful) with some mistakes.
al-Daraqutni: He is not strong.
al-Dhahabi: Thiqah (reliable).
Zakaria ibn Yahya al-Saji: Saduq (truthful), he makes mistakes.
Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah al-'Absi: He is a man of truth, but not a proof.
Muhammad ibn Sa'd Kathir al-Waqidi: Saduq (truthful), narrates many hadiths.
Authors of Tahrir Taqrib al-Tahdhib: Saduq Hasan al-Hadith (truthful, good in hadith), but he was lowered to the rank of Hasan al-Hadith because of mistakes he made.
Yahya ibn Ma'in: Salih (good), but not that much.
Ya'qub ibn Shaybah al-Suddusi: Among the most knowledgeable of the hadith of Sharik.
