Abu Ahmad al-Hakim: He is not strong according to them

Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: He was a Murji'ite among the worshippers, except that he used to raise the mursal (narrations with a missing chain of narrators) and support the mawquf (statements of the Companions), and contradict the trustworthy narrators in narrations due to his poor memory. So when he followed a path other than the path of the precise scholars, which does not benefit you from the human error, and the ugliness of that from him, he was treated differently from the path of the just, so he deserved to be abandoned
