Ibrahim ibn Ya'qub al-Jawzajani: Not praised in his Hadith.
Ishaq ibn Rahawayh: He used to accuse him of lying, and once: A liar.
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Abandoned in Hadith.
Al-Daraqutni: Weak.
Al-Dhahabi: Alas.
Sulayman ibn Dawud al-Tayalisi: A liar.
Muhammad ibn Ishaq ibn Manda al-Asbahani: Abandoned.
Muhammad ibn Isma'il al-Bukhari: Mu'awiyah al-Basri narrated rejected Hadiths from him.
Yahya ibn Ma'in: He is nothing, and once: He is not trustworthy, once: Weak.
Ya'qub ibn Sufyan al-Faswi: He greatly weakened him.
