Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: He is acceptable.
Abu Ja'far al-'Uqayli: He was extreme in his Shi'ism.
Abu Hatim al-Razi: He is acceptable.
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: He was extreme in his Shi'ism and was a leader of the Zaidiyya. He was one of those who used to fight at the grave of Zayd ibn Ali and was a caller to his doctrine. It is not permissible to narrate from him or to cite him as evidence.
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: People narrated from him, and I think he was a Shi'a, and he is righteous.
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Trustworthy, accused of extremism, and it is said that he recanted.
Al-Dhahabi: Trustworthy
Zakariya ibn Yahya al-Saji: He is extreme in his Shi'ism.
Yahya ibn Ma'in: He is acceptable, and once: He is one of the extremists in Shi'ism and was one of the warriors.
