Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: His narration from those he narrates from is upright, and I have not seen anything objectionable in his hadiths if a trustworthy person narrates from him, and he is truthful, there is nothing wrong with him.
Abu Hatim al-Razi: Truthful, and he used to be careful in raising the chain of narration, and once: He used to write down his hadith.
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: He mentioned him among the trustworthy and said: He was one of the worshippers who were rough in appearance and who used to weep at night.
Abu Dawud al-Sijistani: They criticized his narration from al-Hasan and Ata' because he used to narrate with shortened chains.
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: Good, and once: In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with him.
Ahmad ibn Salih al-Jili: Trustworthy, good in hadith.
Ismail ibn Ulayah: We did not consider Hisham ibn Hassan to be of good standing.
Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani: Trustworthy, one of the most knowledgeable people about Ibn Sirin. And there is a discussion about his narration from al-Hasan and Ata' because it was said that he used to narrate from them with shortened chains.

Said ibn Abi Urwa al-Harrani: I have not seen anyone who memorized more from Muhammad ibn Sirin than him.
Sulaiman ibn Dawud al-Tayalisi: Yazid ibn Abi Ibrahim is more reliable in our view than him.

Muhammad ibn Sirin al-Basri: Hisham is one of us, the people of the household.
Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Qattan: He used to consider him reliable, and once: He used to weaken his narration from Ata'.
Yahya ibn Ma'in: There is nothing wrong with him, and once: Trustworthy, and once: He was asked, 'Who is dearer to you, Hisham or Jarir ibn Hazim?' He said, 'Hisham is dearer to me.' It was said, 'Is Hisham ibn Hassan dearer to you in relation to Ibn Sirin or Yazid ibn Ibrahim?' He said, 'Their narrations are both reliable.' And once: He used to avoid narrating from Ata' and Ikrimah and al-Hasan through him.
