Abu Ahmad ibn 'Adi al-Jurjani: A famous man, the Imams have written about him, and he himself is fine except that he was attributed to tadlis. And he once said: One of the Imams, there is consensus on his trustworthiness, except that he was famous for tadlis, and all the Imams relied on him. And he said in al-Lisan: A memorizer. And once he mentioned him in Tabaqat al-Mudallisin and said: Famous for tadlis with his trustworthiness
