Al-Dhahabi: They considered him weak except for Ibn Hibban
Muhammad ibn Ismail al-Bukhari: He has munkar (rejected) narrations, and he said in response to a question from Abu 'Isa al-Tirmidhi: Close to being a narrator of hadith
Yahya ibn Ma'in: He is nothing, and once: Weak, he is nothing
Yaqub ibn Sufyan al-Faswi: Lenient in Hadith
