Abu Nasr ibn Makula: He mentioned him in al-Ikmal, and said: He narrates from al-Hasan al-Basri, Ibn Sirin, Yazid al-Raqashi and others. Hisham, Abu Qatan, Bishr ibn al-Sari, and Bakr ibn Bakkar narrated from him
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: Thiqah (trustworthy)
Ahmad ibn Shu'aib al-Nasa'i: Da'if (weak), and once: There is no problem with him
Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani: Saduq (truthful), and he used to conceal the chain of narration when narrating from al-Hasan
Shu'bah ibn al-Hajjaj: The most truthful of people

Muhammad ibn Isma'il al-Bukhari: They criticize his narration from al-Hasan

Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Qattan: He used to narrate from him
Yahya ibn Ma'in: Salih (good), his hadith from al-Hasan is weak, and once: He is not strong, and once: Da'if (weak)
