Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: In my view, he is eloquent and has many hadiths that are strange and beautiful, indicating that he is among the truthful, and his hadiths are worth writing down.
Abu Dawud al-Sijistani: Thiqah (Trustworthy)
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: There is nothing wrong with him.
Ahmad ibn Shuayb al-Nasa'i: There is nothing wrong with him.
Ahmad ibn Salih al-Jili: Thiqah (Trustworthy)
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Saduq (Truthful), he narrates some unusual hadiths.
al-Daraqutni: Thiqah (Trustworthy)
Abd al-Rahman ibn Yusuf ibn Kharash: Saduq (Truthful)
Authors of Tahrir Taqrib al-Tahdhib: Thiqah (Trustworthy), he narrates some unusual hadiths. The hadiths he narrates that are unusual are Hasan (Good), and the rest of his hadiths are Sahih (Authentic).
Yahya ibn Ma'in: Thiqah (Trustworthy), accurate in writing, and once: There is nothing wrong with him, and once: Da'if (Weak)
