Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: He doesn't have many hadiths, and based on the amount he narrates, I don't see a problem with his hadiths, and I hope he is truthful.
Abu Hatim al-Razi: There is nothing wrong with him.
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: His hadith is considered acceptable, excluding narrations from the weak narrators about him. Once, he mentioned him among the discredited narrators, saying: 'He used to narrate fabricated narrations from trustworthy narrators, thus making it invalid to use him as a reference.'
Abu Nuaym al-Asbahani: His hadith is not considered sound.
Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani: Acceptable
Muhammad ibn Ismail al-Bukhari: He included him among the weak narrators and said: 'His hadith is not considered sound.'
