Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: Most of what he narrates is not preserved, and he himself does not deliberately lie, but he makes mistakes and gets confused

Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Truthful worshiper who makes many mistakes and has changed
Al-Dhahabi: Truthful, he became paralyzed and his memory deteriorated
Ali ibn al-Madini: Truthful, and he had become paralyzed, so his memory changed
Muhammad ibn Sa'd, the scribe of al-Waqidi: He narrates many hadiths and makes many mistakes, his hadith is not taken as evidence if it is contradicted
Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Numayr: He forgets quickly and his hadith is mistaken, from al-Thawri from Mansur from Khalid ibn Sa'd from Abu Mas'ud, but it is from al-Kalbi from Abi Salih from al-Muthlib from Abi Wa'dah, he imagines things and then narrates them
Authors of Tahrir Taqrib al-Tahdhib: Da'if (weak), he is considered in mutaba'at (follow-ups) and witnesses
Wakee' ibn al-Jarrah: There was no one among our companions who had a better memory than him, then he forgot
Yahya ibn Ma'in: He is not firm, he did not care what he narrated, he used to imagine hadith, and he once said: I hope he is truthful, and he once said: There is no problem with him, and in the narration of Ibn Mahriz, he said: Truthful, he is not that strong
Ya'qub ibn Shaybah al-Sadusi: Truthful, narrates many hadiths, but our companions criticized him for making many mistakes, and he is not an authority if he is contradicted, and once: Thiqah (reliable), one of the companions of Sufyan, and he makes many mistakes in his hadith
