Abu Ahmad al-Hakim: He is not considered a Hafiz (scholar who memorized Hadith) by them
Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Jurjani: I hope there is no problem with his narrations
Abu Hatim al-Razi: His Hadiths are written in their proper places, he is Salih al-Hadith (acceptable in Hadith) but his Hadiths are not used as evidence
Abu Hatim ibn Habban al-Busti: He mentioned him among the trustworthy and said: He makes mistakes and contradicts, but his mistakes are not so grave that he would be considered rejected. He is acceptable in narration except for what is known to be a mistake, in which case his mistake is rejected like the mistakes of other trustworthy narrators
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: Trustworthy, there was nothing wrong with him
Ahmad ibn Shuayb al-Nasa'i: Trustworthy
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Saduq (Truthful) but makes mistakes
al-Daraqutni: Trustworthy
al-Dhahabi: Hasan al-Hadith (Good in Hadith)
Authors of Tahrir Taqrib al-Tahdhib: Saduq (Truthful) Hasan al-Hadith (Good in Hadith)
Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Qattan: He is not relied upon, he is Salih (acceptable) and average
Yahya ibn Ma'in: Trustworthy
Yaqub ibn Sufyan al-Faswi: Trustworthy
