Abu Hatim ibn Habban al-Busti: Poor memory, many mistakes, among those who raise mursal narrations without knowledge, and attribute mawquf narrations without understanding. So when that became abundant in his narrations, he became dropped from being relied upon when narrating alone. I hope to rely on him in what he agrees with the trustworthy, as he was not criticized in his actions due to his early truthfulness

Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani: Weak
al-Daraqutni: Abandoned, and once: They differed about him, but he doesn't deserve to be abandoned in my opinion
al-Dhahabi: Alas
Salih ibn Muhammad al-Jawzajani: They abandoned his narrations
Yahya ibn Ma'in: Not anything, and once: He is not equal to anything, and once: He is not trustworthy, and once: A liar
