Abu Hatim Ibn Hibban Al-Busti: He mentioned him in "Ath-Thiqat" and said: A sheikh who narrates from Ibn Umar. Uthman Ibn Zadhwiyyah narrated from him from the hadith of the people of Yemen.
Abu Nasr Ibn Makula: He mentioned him in "Al-Ikmal", and said: He heard from Ibn Umar, and Uthman Ibn Budhawaiyh narrated from him.
Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani: He translated for him in "At-Ta'jil" and said: No one is mentioned in the narration from him except Uthman Ibn Yazduwaih.

ابن حجر العسقلاني: ترجم له في التعجيل وقال: لم يذكر في الرواة عنه إلا عثمان بن يزدويه
