Abu Ahmad ibn 'Adi al-Jurjani: He has some acceptable hadiths and he is among those whose hadiths are written down.
Abu Bakr al-Bayhaqi: His hadith is not used as evidence, and once he said: Not strong.
Abu Hatim al-Razi: He is not among the trustworthy narrators, his hadith is written down.
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: He said: He sometimes made mistakes. His hadith is considered without the narration of Zuma'a from him.
Abu Zur'a al-Razi: Weak, and once: His hadiths are munkar (rejected).
Ahmad ibn Hanbal: Weak, and once: His hadiths are munkar (rejected) hadiths.
Ahmad ibn Shu'ayb al-Nasa'i: Weak
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Weak
Al-Dhahabi: Weak
Sibṭ ibn al-'Ajami: He mentioned him in al-Tabi'in for the names of mudallisīn (hadith concealers) and said: In Ibn Hibban's biography of him, there is something that indicates he concealed hadiths.
Yahya ibn Ma'in: Weak in hadith, not abandoned, and once: Weak, and once: Not like that.
