Ibrahim ibn Ya'qub al-Jawzajani: Not convincing, he became confused towards the end of his life
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Considered by a group to be among the weak narrators
Zakariya ibn Yahya al-Saji: Weak
Yahya ibn Ma'in: He was neither trustworthy nor reliable, and once said: He is nothing. In a narration by Abbas al-Dawri, he heard him say: People used to shout at him, 'O you, you are nothing!' Do not write from him
