Abu Ishaq al-Sabi'i: Liar
Abu Bakr al-Bayhaqi: He is not relied upon, and it was narrated from al-Shafi'i that he is unknown
Abu Bakr ibn Abi Dawud: He was the most knowledgeable of people, the most intelligent of people, and the most calculating of people
Abu Bakr ibn Ayash: Al-Harith was not the most pleasing to them, others were more pleasing to them than him, and they used to say: He is a man of books, a liar
Abu Hatim al-Razi: He is not strong, nor is he among those whose hadith is relied upon
Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: He was extreme in his Shi'ism and mistaken in hadith
Abu Zur'a al-Razi: His hadith is not relied upon, he mentioned him in the names of the weak narrators
Abu 'Eisa al-Tirmidhi: There is an issue with him, some of the scholars weakened him
Ahmad ibn Shu'ayb al-Nasa'i: He is not strong, and once: There is no problem with him
Ahmad ibn Salih al-Masri: He is trustworthy as far as I know, and the best of what he narrated is from Ali and praised him, it was said to him that al-Sha'bi said: He used to lie, he said: He did not lie in hadith, but his lying was in his opinion
Ibrahim ibn Yazid al-Nakh'i: Accused
Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani: Al-Sha'bi accused him of lying in his opinion, and he was accused of Rafidism, and there is weakness in his hadith
Al-Hasan ibn al-Sabah al-Bazzar: What he narrates alone is not proven
Al-Daraqutni: Weak, and once: If he narrates alone, his hadith is not proven
Al-Dhahabi: Lenient Shi'a
Jarir ibn 'Abd al-Hamid al-Dabbi: Al-Harith was a fabricator

Shu'ba ibn al-Hajjaj: Abu Ishaq did not hear from al-Harith except four hadiths, and so said al-'Ijli and added, and the rest of that is a book he took
Amr ibn Shurahil al-Sha'bi: He testified that he was one of the liars, and once: By Allah, he was a liar
Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi: He abandoned the hadith of al-Harith
Ali ibn al-Madini: Liar
Imad al-Din ibn Kathir al-Dimashqi: He was a memorizer of the laws of inheritance, concerned with it and with arithmetic
Muhammad ibn Sa'd كاتب الواقدي: He had a bad saying, and he is weak in his opinion
Yahya ibn Ma'in: Weak, and once: There is no problem with him, and once: Trustworthy in what he narrates from Ali ibn Abi Talib
Yusuf ibn Musa: Al-Harith al-A'war was a fabricator
