Abu al-Fath al-Azdi: His hadith is rejected, weak, he threw with lies
Abu al-Faraj ibn al-Jawzi: They agreed that he is a liar

Abu Hatim ibn Hibban al-Busti: He fabricates hadith on the authority of trustworthy narrators and brings what has no basis from the proven ones. It is not permissible to write his hadith except for the purpose of amazement.

Ishaq ibn Mansur al-Kawsa j: We know his weakness and that he does not know what he is saying
