It was narrated that Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said : "The Iqama for prayer was said, and the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was conversing privately with a man, and did not commence the prayer until the people slept."

انس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نماز کے لیے اقامت کہی جا چکی تھی، اور رسول اللہ ﷺ ایک شخص سے راز داری کی باتیں کر رہے تھے، تو آپ نماز کے لیے کھڑے نہیں ہوئے یہاں تک کہ لوگ سونے لگے ۔
Ins (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke namaz ke liye iqamat kahi ja chuki thi, aur rasool allah salla allahu alaihi wa sallam ek shakhs se raaz dari ki baatein kar rahe the, to aap namaz ke liye khade nahin hue yahin tak ke log sone lage ۱؎.
أَخْبَرَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاَةُ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَجِيٌّ لِرَجُلٍ فَمَا قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ حَتَّى نَامَ الْقَوْمُ .
