Chapter: Imam saying Amin out loud

باب جَهْرِ الإِمَامِ بِآمِينَ

Sunan an-Nasa'i 925

Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘when the reciter says Amin, then say, ‘Amin’ too, for the angels say Amin and if a person's Amin coincides with the Amin of the angels, Allah will forgive his previous sins’.

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا:  جب قاری  ( امام )  آمین کہے، تو تم بھی آمین کہو کیونکہ فرشتے بھی آمین کہتے ہیں، جس کا آمین کہنا فرشتوں کے آمین کہنے کے موافق ہو جائے ۱؎ گا تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس کے سابقہ گناہ بخش دے گا ۔

Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kahtay hain ke Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Jab Qari ( Imam ) Amin kahay, to tum bhi Amin kaho kyunki Farishtay bhi Amin kahtay hain, jis ka Amin kahna Farishtoon ke Amin kahnay ke muwafiq ho jaye 1 ga to Allah Ta'ala us ke sabeq gunah bakhsh de ga.

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، عَنِ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ إِذَا أَمَّنَ الْقَارِئُ فَأَمِّنُوا فَإِنَّ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ تُؤَمِّنُ فَمَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Sunan an-Nasa'i 926

Abu Huraira (رضئ هللا تعالی عنہ) narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘when the reciter says Amin, then say, ‘Amin’ too, for the angels say Amin and if a person's Amin coincides with the Amin of the angels, Allah will forgive his previous sins’.

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا:  جب قاری  ( امام )  آمین کہے تو تم بھی آمین کہو، کیونکہ فرشتے بھی آمین کہتے ہیں، جس کا آمین کہنا فرشتوں کے آمین کہنے کے موافق ہو جائے گا، اس کے تمام سابقہ گناہ بخش دیئے جائیں گے ۔

Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Nabi Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Jab Qari (Imam) Ameen kahe to tum bhi Ameen kaho, kyunki farishte bhi Ameen kehte hain, jis ka Ameen kahna farishton ke Ameen kahne ke muwafiq ho jayega, us ke tamam sabeqe gunaah bakhsh diye jayenge.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ إِذَا أَمَّنَ الْقَارِئُ فَأَمِّنُوا فَإِنَّ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ تُؤَمِّنُ فَمَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Sunan an-Nasa'i 927

Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘when the Imam says - َِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَالَ الضَّال ِينغَيْر [not the path of those who have been subjected to Your Wrath and the path of those who have gone astray], say: 'Amin' for the angels say Amin and the Imam says Amin, and if a person's Amin coincides with the Amin of the angels, his previous sins will be forgiven’.


Grade: Sahih

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا:  جب امام «غير المغضوب عليهم ولا الضالين» کہے تو تم آمين کہو، کیونکہ فرشتے آمین کہتے ہیں اور امام آمین کہتا ہے تو جس کا آمین کہنا فرشتوں کے آمین کہنے کے موافق ہو جائے گا اس کے تمام سابقہ گناہ بخش دیئے جائیں گے ۔

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا ‏"‏ قَالَ الإِمَامُ ‏{‏ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ ‏}‏ فَقُولُوا آمِينَ فَإِنَّ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ تَقُولُ آمِينَ وَإِنَّ الإِمَامَ يَقُولُ آمِينَ فَمَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Sunan an-Nasa'i 928

Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘when the Imam says Amin, say Amin, for if a person's Amin coincides with the Amin of the angels, his previous sins will be forgiven’.

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا:  جب امام آمین کہے تو تم بھی آمین کہو، کیونکہ جس کا آمین کہنا فرشتوں کے آمین کہنے کے موافق ہو جائے گا، اس کے تمام سابقہ گناہ بخش دیئے جائیں گے ۔

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، وَأَبِي، سَلَمَةَ أَنَّهُمَا أَخْبَرَاهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ إِذَا أَمَّنَ الإِمَامُ فَأَمِّنُوا فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏
