Chapter: The takbir when getting up

باب التَّكْبِيرِ لِلنُّهُوضِ

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1155

Abu Salama narrated that Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) used to lead them in prayer and he said the takbir when he went down and came up. When he had finished, he said, 'by Allah I am the one among you whose prayer most closely resembles that of the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)’.

ابوسلمہ کہتے ہیں کہ ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ انہیں نماز پڑھاتے تھے، تو جب جب جھکتے اور اٹھتے «اللہ اکبر» کہتے، پھر جب وہ سلام پھیر کر پلٹتے تو کہتے: قسم اللہ کی، میں تم میں نماز کے اعتبار سے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے سب سے زیادہ مشابہت رکھتا ہوں۔

Abu Sulaymah kehte hain ke Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) unhen namaz padhate the, to jab jab jhakte aur uthte «Allah Akbar» kehte, phir jab woh salam phir kar pultte to kehte: Qasam Allah ki, main tum mein namaz ke e'tebar se Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se sab se zyada mushabahit rakhta hun.

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، كَانَ يُصَلِّي بِهِمْ فَيُكَبِّرُ كُلَّمَا خَفَضَ وَرَفَعَ فَإِذَا انْصَرَفَ قَالَ وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لأَشْبَهُكُمْ صَلاَةً بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏.‏

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1156

Abu Bakr bin Abdur Rahman and Abu Salamah bin Abdur Rahman narrated that they prayed behind Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) and he when he bowed, he said the takbir, when he raised his head he said - َُ بَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدَّ ُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ رسَمِعَ َّللا [ Allah listened to the one who praised. O Our Lord all praise is for You only]. Then he prostrated and said the takbir, then he raised his head and said the takbir, then he said the takbir when he stood up following that Rak'a. Then he said, 'by the One in Whose Hand is my soul, I am the one among you whose prayer most closely resembles that of the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). And this is how he continued to pray until he left this world’.

ابوبکر بن عبدالرحمٰن اور ابوسلمہ بن عبدالرحمٰن سے روایت ہے کہ ان دونوں نے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے پیچھے نماز پڑھی، جب انہوں نے رکوع کیا تو اللہ اکبر کہا، پھر رکوع سے اپنا سر اٹھایا تو «سمع اللہ لمن حمده ربنا ولك الحمد» کہا، پھر سجدہ کیا تو «اللہ اکبر» کہا، اور سجدہ سے اپنا سر اٹھایا تو «اللہ اکبر» کہا، پھر جس وقت رکعت پوری کر کے کھڑے ہوئے تو «اللہ اکبر» کہا، پھر کہا: اس ذات کی قسم جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے، میں نماز میں ازروئے مشابہت تم میں رسول اللہ ﷺ سے سب سے زیادہ قریب ہوں، برابر آپ کی نماز ایسے رہی یہاں تک کہ آپ دنیا سے رخصت ہو گئے، یہ الفاظ «سّوار» کے ہیں۔

Abu Bakr bin Abdul Rahman aur Abu Salamah bin Abdul Rahman se riwayat hai ke in dono ne Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke pichhe namaz padhi, jab unhon ne rukoo kiya to Allahu Akbar kaha, phir rukoo se apna sar uthaya to «Same Allahu liman hamde Rabbana wa laka al-hamd» kaha, phir sajda kiya to «Allahu Akbar» kaha, aur sajda se apna sar uthaya to «Allahu Akbar» kaha, phir jis waqt rukat puri kar ke khare hue to «Allahu Akbar» kaha, phir kaha: Is zat ki qasam jis ke hath mein meri jaan hai, main namaz mein azroye mushabhat tum mein Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se sab se ziyada qareeb hoon, barabar aap ki namaz aise rahi yahan tak ke aap duniya se rukhsat ho gaye, yeh alfaaz «Sawar» ke hain.

أَخْبَرَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، وَسَوَّارُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَوَّارٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَعَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّهُمَا صَلَّيَا خَلْفَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - فَلَمَّا رَكَعَ كَبَّرَ فَلَمَّا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ قَالَ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ وَكَبَّرَ وَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ وَكَبَّرَ ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ حِينَ قَامَ مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ ثُمَّ قَالَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنِّي لأَقْرَبُكُمْ شَبَهًا بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَا زَالَتْ هَذِهِ صَلاَتُهُ حَتَّى فَارَقَ الدُّنْيَا ‏.‏ وَاللَّفْظُ لِسَوَّارٍ ‏.‏
