Al-Bara bin Azib (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated, ‘I watched the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) when he prayed, and I noticed that his standing, his bowing, his standing up after bowing, his prostration, his sitting between the two prostrations and his sitting between the taslim and departing were almost the same in length’.

براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کی نماز کو بغور دیکھا، تو میں نے پایا کہ آپ کا قیام ۱؎، آپ کا رکوع، اور رکوع کے بعد آپ کا سیدھا کھڑا ہونا، پھر آپ کا سجدہ کرنا، اور دونوں سجدوں کے درمیان بیٹھنا، پھر دوسرا سجدہ کرنا، پھر سلام پھیرنے اور مقتدیوں کی طرف پلٹنے کے درمیان بیٹھنا تقریباً برابر برابر ہوتا تھا۔
Baraa bin Aazib (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke main ne Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki namaz ko baghoor dekha, to main ne paya ke aap ka qiyaam 1, aap ka rukoo, aur rukoo ke baad aap ka seedha khada hona, phir aap ka sajda karna, aur dono sajdon ke darmiyan beithna, phir doosra sajda karna, phir salam phirne aur muqtadion ki taraf paltne ke darmiyan beithna taqreeban barabar barabar hota tha.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ هِلاَلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، قَالَ رَمَقْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي صَلاَتِهِ فَوَجَدْتُ قِيَامَهُ وَرَكْعَتَهُ وَاعْتِدَالَهُ بَعْدَ الرَّكْعَةِ فَسَجْدَتَهُ فَجَلْسَتَهُ بَيْنَ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ فَسَجْدَتَهُ فَجَلْسَتَهُ بَيْنَ التَّسْلِيمِ وَالاِنْصِرَافِ قَرِيبًا مِنَ السَّوَاءِ .
