Urwah bin Az-Zubair (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that Ummul Momineen Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) ‘the sun was eclipsed during the life of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) went out to the masjid and stood and said takbir, and the people formed rows behind him. He bowed four times and prostrated four times, and the eclipse ended before he finished’.

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کی زندگی میں سورج گرہن لگا تو رسول اللہ ﷺ مسجد کی طرف نکلے، اور نماز کے لیے کھڑے ہوئے، آپ نے اللہ اکبر ، کہا اور لوگوں نے آپ کے پیچھے صف بندی کی، پھر آپ نے چار رکوع اور چار سجدے مکمل کئے، سورج آپ کے فارغ ہونے سے پہلے ہی صاف ہو گیا۔
Umme-ul-Momineen Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) kehti hain ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki zindagi mein suraj grahan laga to Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) masjid ki taraf nikle, aur namaz ke liye khade hue, aap ne Allah Akbar kaha aur logo ne aap ke peeche saf bandhi, phir aap ne chaar rukoo aur chaar sajde mukammal kiye, suraj aap ke farigh hone se pehle hi saf ho gaya.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ خَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَتْ كَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ فِي حَيَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَامَ فَكَبَّرَ وَصَفَّ النَّاسُ وَرَاءَهُ فَاسْتَكْمَلَ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ وَأَرْبَعَ سَجَدَاتٍ وَانْجَلَتِ الشَّمْسُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَنْصَرِفَ .
