Chapter: Mentioning the differences reported from Shu'bah about that report

باب ذِكْرِ الاِخْتِلاَفِ عَلَى شُعْبَةَ فِيهِ ‏.‏ أ ‏}‏

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1732

Ibn Abdur-Rahman bin Abza narrated from his father that the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to recite in Witr, “Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High” and “Say: O you disbelievers!” and “Say: He is Allah, (the) One”.


Grade: Sahih

عبدالرحمٰن بن ابزیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ وتر میں «‏سبح اسم ربك الأعلى» اور «قل يا أيها الكافرون» اور«قل هو اللہ أحد‏» پڑھتے تھے، اور جب سلام پھیرتے تھے، تو «سبحان الملك القدوس» تین بار کہتے، اور تیسری بار اپنی آواز بلند کرتے۔

Abdul Rahman bin Abi Zayd (رضي الله تعالى عنه)u se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) witr mein «Subh-i-ism-e-Rab-bika al-a’la» aur «Qul ya ayyuhal kaafiruun» aur «Qul hu-wa Allahu ahad» parhte they, aur jab salam phirte they, to «Subhan-al-malik al-qudus» teen bar kahte, aur teesri bar apni awaz buland karte.

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ، وَزُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ ذَرٍّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يُوتِرُ بِـ ‏{‏ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى ‏}‏ وَ ‏{‏ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ ‏}‏ وَ ‏{‏ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ‏}‏ وَكَانَ يَقُولُ إِذَا سَلَّمَ ‏"‏ سُبْحَانَ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ ثَلاَثًا وَيَرْفَعُ صَوْتَهُ بِالثَّالِثَةِ ‏.‏

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1733

Bahz bin Asad, said, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Salamah and Zubaid, from Dharr,( رضي الله تعالى عنه) from Ibn Abdur-Rahman bin Abza from his father that the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to recite in Witr, “Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High” and “Say: O you disbelievers!” and “Say: He is Allah, (the) One” And when he said the taslim, he would say, “Fajranal-Malikil-Quddus (Glory be to the Sovereign, the Most Holy)” three times, raising his voice the third time.

عبدالرحمٰن بن ابزیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ وتر میں «‏سبح اسم ربك الأعلى» اور «قل يا أيها الكافرون» اور«قل هو اللہ أحد‏» پڑھتے تھے، اور جب سلام پھیرتے، تو «سبحان الملك القدوس» کہتے، اور تیسری بار «سبحان الملك القدوس» کہتے وقت اپنی آواز بلند کرتے تھے۔ منصور نے اسے سلمہ بن کہیل سے روایت کیا ہے، اور اس میں انہوں نے ذر کا ذکر نہیں کیا ہے۔

Abdul Rahman bin Abzi Razi Allah Anhu se Riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WASALLAM Watar mein "Subhan ismi Rabbi-l-a'la" aur "Qul Ya Ay-yuha-l-Kafirun" aur "Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad" padhte the, aur jab Salam phirte, to "Subhan al-Malik al-Qudus" kehte, aur tisri bar "Subhan al-Malik al-Qudus" kehte waqt apni awaz بلند karte the. Mansoor ne ise Salma bin Kahil se riwayat kiya hai, aur is mein unhon ne Zirr ka zikr nahin kiya hai.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي سَلَمَةُ، وَزُبَيْدٌ، عَنْ ذَرٍّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْوَتْرِ بِـ ‏{‏ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى ‏}‏ وَ ‏{‏ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ ‏}‏ وَ ‏{‏ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ‏}‏ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ إِذَا سَلَّمَ ‏"‏ سُبْحَانَ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَيَرْفَعُ بِـ ‏"‏ سُبْحَانَ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ صَوْتَهُ بِالثَّالِثَةِ ‏.‏ رَوَاهُ مَنْصُورٌ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ ذَرًّا ‏.‏

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1734

Khalid said Shu'bah narrated to us that Salamah and Zubaid informed him, from Dharr ( رضي الله تعالى عنه) , from Ibn Abdur-Rahman bn Abza from Abdur-Rahman(رضئ هللا تعالی عنہ) that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to recite in Witr, “Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High” and “Say: O you disbelievers!” and “Say: He is Allah, (the) One” And when he said the taslim, he would say, “Fajranal-Malikil-Quddus (Glory be to the Sovereign, the Most Holy)” three times, raising his voice with “Fajranal-Malikil-Quddus” the third time.

عبدالرحمٰن بن ابزی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ وتر میں «‏سبح اسم ربك الأعلى»، «قل يا أيها الكافرون» اور «قل هو اللہ أحد‏» پڑھتے تھے، اور جب سلام پھیر کر فارغ ہو جاتے تو تین بار «سبحان الملك القدوس» کہتے، اور تیسری بار کھینچ کر کہتے تھے۔ نیز اسے عبدالملک بن ابی سلیمان نے زبید سے روایت کیا ہے، اور انہوں نے بھی ذر کا ذکر نہیں کیا ہے۔

Abdul Rahman bin Abi Zayd (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) watur mein «Subhan ismi Rabbi-l-A'la», «Qul ya ayyuhal kaafiruun» aur «Qul huwallah-u ahad» padhte the, aur jab salam phir kar farigh ho jate to teen bar «Subhan al-Malik al-Quddus» kehte, aur teesri bar kheench kar kehte the. Neez ise Abdul Malik bin Abi Sulaiman ne Zubaid se riwayat kiya hai, aur unhon ne bhi Zar ka zikr nahi kiya hai.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُوتِرُ بِـ ‏{‏ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى ‏}‏ وَ ‏{‏ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ ‏}‏ وَ ‏{‏ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ‏}‏ وَكَانَ إِذَا سَلَّمَ وَفَرَغَ قَالَ ‏"‏ سُبْحَانَ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ ثَلاَثًا طَوَّلَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ ‏.‏ وَرَوَاهُ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ ذَرًّا ‏.‏

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1735

Mansur reported from Salamah bin Kuhail, from Sa'eed bin Abdur-Rahman bin Abza, from his father, who said that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to recite in witr, “Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High” and “Say: O you disbelievers!” and “Say: He is Allah, (the) One” And when he said the taslim, he would say, “ Fajranal-Malikil-Quddus (Glory be to the Sovereign, the Most Holy)” three times, elongating his words the third time.

عبدالرحمٰن بن ابزیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ وتر میں «‏سبح اسم ربك الأعلى»، «قل يا أيها الكافرون» اور «قل هو اللہ أحد‏» پڑھتے تھے۔ نیز محمد بن جحادہ نے اسے زبید سے روایت کیا ہے، اور انہوں نے بھی ذر کا ذکر نہیں کیا ہے۔

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُوتِرُ بِـ ‏{‏ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى ‏}‏ وَ ‏{‏ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ ‏}‏ وَ ‏{‏ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ‏}‏ وَرَوَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جُحَادَةَ عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ ذَرًّا ‏.‏

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1736

Abdul-Malik bin Abi Sulaiman reported from Zubaid, from Sa'eed bin Abdur-Rahman bin Abza, from his father, who said that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to recite in witr, “Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High” and “Say: O you disbelievers!” and “Say: He is Allah, (the) One”.


Grade: Sahih

عبدالرحمٰن بن ابزیٰ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ وتر میں «‏سبح اسم ربك الأعلى»، «قل يا أيها الكافرون» اور «قل هو اللہ أحد‏» پڑھتے، اور جب نماز سے فارغ ہو جاتے تو تین بار «سبحان الملك القدوس» کہتے تھے۔

Abdul Rahman bin Abzaa kehte hain ke Rasool Allah Watar mein «Subh-i-sami Rabbika-l-a'la», «Qul Ya ayyuha-l-kafirun» aur «Qul Huwa-llahu Ahad» padhte, aur jab namaz se farigh ho jate to teen bar «Subhan-al-malik-al-qudus» kehte the.

أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جُحَادَةَ، عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبْزَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُوتِرُ بِـ ‏{‏ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى ‏}‏ وَ ‏{‏ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ ‏}‏ وَ ‏{‏ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ‏}‏ فَإِذَا فَرَغَ مِنَ الصَّلاَةِ قَالَ ‏"‏ سُبْحَانَ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ ‏.‏
