Sa'd bin Hisham bin Amir that his father said, many people were wounded on the day of Uhud and complaints were made to the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) about that. He said, 'dig graves and make them good and wide, and bury two or three in a grave, and put in first the one who knew the Qur'an most.’

ہشام بن عامر انصاری رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ۔ ( غزوہ ) احد کے دن میرے والد قتل کئے گئے، تو نبی اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ” ( قبریں ) کھودو اور انہیں کشادہ اور اچھی بناؤ، اور ( ایک ہی ) قبر میں دو دو تین تین کو دفنا دو، اور جنہیں قرآن زیادہ یاد ہو انہیں پہلے رکھو“، چنانچہ میرے والد تین میں کے تیسرے تھے، اور انہیں قرآن زیادہ یاد تھا تو وہ پہلے رکھے گئے۔
Hisham bin Aamir Ansari Radi Allahu Anhu kehte hain ki . ( Ghazwah ) Uhad ke din mere walid qatl kiye gaye, to Nabi Akram ﷺ ne farmaya: ” ( Kabren ) khodo aur unhen kushada aur achi banao, aur ( ek hi ) qabar mein do do teen teen ko dafn do, aur jinhen Quran zyada yaad ho unhen pehle rakho“, chunancha mere walid teen mein ke teesre the, aur unhen Quran zyada yaad tha to woh pehle rakhe gaye.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلاَلٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ : قُتِلَ أَبِي يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم : " احْفِرُوا وَأَوْسِعُوا وَأَحْسِنُوا، وَادْفِنُوا الاِثْنَيْنِ وَالثَّلاَثَةَ فِي الْقَبْرِ، وَقَدِّمُوا أَكْثَرَهُمْ قُرْآنًا " . فَكَانَ أَبِي ثَالِثَ ثَلاَثَةٍ وَكَانَ أَكْثَرَهُمْ قُرْآنًا فَقُدِّمَ .
