Amr bin sa'eed bin Abi Husain told us that 'Amr bin Shu'aib wrote to 'Abdullah bin Abdur Rahman bin Abi Husain to offer condolences for a son of his who had died. In his letter he mentioned that he had heard his father narrate that his grandfather, 'Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-As (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, ‘the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, 'Allah does not approve for His believing servant, if He takes away his loved one from among the people of the Earth, and he bears that with patience and seeks reward, and says that, which he is commanded - any reward less than Paradise.’

انس رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: جس شخص کی تین صلبی اولاد مر جائیں ( اور ) وہ اللہ تعالیٰ سے اس کا اجر و ثواب چاہے، تو وہ جنت میں داخل ہو گا ( اتنے میں ) ایک عورت کھڑی ہوئی اور بولی: اور دو اولاد مرنے پر؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: دو اولاد کے مرنے پر بھی ، اس عورت نے کہا: کاش! میں ایک ہی کہتی ۔
Ins razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah salla Allah alaihi wa sallam ne farmaya: Jis shakhs ki teen salbi aulad mar jayen ( aur ) woh Allah Ta'ala se is ka ajr o sawab chahe, to woh jannat mein dakhil hoga ( itne mein ) ek aurat khadi hoi aur boli: Aur do aulad marne par? Aap salla Allah alaihi wa sallam ne farmaya: Do aulad ke marne par bhi, is aurat ne kaha: Kash! Main ek hi kehti 1؎.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي بُكَيْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَنِ احْتَسَبَ ثَلاَثَةً مِنْ صُلْبِهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ " . فَقَامَتِ امْرَأَةٌ فَقَالَتْ أَوِ اثْنَانِ قَالَ " أَوِ اثْنَانِ " . قَالَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ يَا لَيْتَنِي قُلْتُ وَاحِدًا .
