Khabbab said: We emigrated with the Messenger of Allah, seeking the Face of Allah, the Most High, so our reward became due from Allah. Some of us died without enjoying anything of his reward (in this world) among them is Mus'ab bin Umair. He was matyred on the day of Uhud and we could not find anything to shroud him in except a Namirah; if we covered his head with it, his feet were uncovered, and if we covered his feet with it, his head became uncovered. The Messenger of Allah told us to cover his head with it and to put Idhkhir over his feet. And for some of us, the fruits of our labor have ripened and we are gathering them. عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: محرم کو اس کے ان ہی دونوں کپڑوں میں غسل دو جن میں وہ احرام باندھے ہوئے تھا، اور اسے پانی اور بیر ( کے پتوں ) سے نہلاؤ، اور اسے اس کے دونوں کپڑوں ہی میں کفناؤ، نہ اسے خوشبو لگاؤ، اور نہ ہی اس کا سر ڈھکو، کیونکہ وہ قیامت کے دن احرام باندھے ہوئے اٹھے گا ۔
Abdul-Allah bin Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a kehte hain ke Rasool-Allah salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam ne farmaya: Muharram ko is ke in hi dono kapron mein ghusl do jin mein woh ihram bandhe huye tha, aur isse pani aur bair ( ke patton ) se nahlao, aur isse is ke dono kapron hi mein kafnao, nah isse khushbu lagao, aur nah hi is ka sir dhakho, kyunki woh qayamat ke din ihram bandhe huye uthae ga.
أَخْبَرَنَا عُتْبَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " اغْسِلُوا الْمُحْرِمَ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ اللَّذَيْنِ أَحْرَمَ فِيهِمَا وَاغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلاَ تُمِسُّوهُ بِطِيبٍ وَلاَ تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُحْرِمًا " .
