Abdullah bin Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that he came to the Kabah when the Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), Bilal and Usamah bin Zaid (رضي الله تعالى عنهما) had enter it, and Uthman bin Talhah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) had shut the door. They stayed there for a while, then he opened the door, and the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) came out. Ibn Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) climed the steps and entered the House and said, ‘where did the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) pray? They said, ‘here’, and I forgot to ask them how many Rakah the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) had prayed inside the House.

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ وہ کعبہ کے پاس پہنچے اور نبی اکرم ﷺ ، بلال اور اسامہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہما اندر داخل ہو چکے تھے، اور ( ان کے اندر جاتے ہی ) عثمان بن طلحہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے دروازہ بند دیا۔ تو وہ لوگ کچھ دیر تک اندر رہے، پھر انہوں نے دروازہ کھولا تو نبی اکرم ﷺ نکلے ( اور آپ کے نکلتے ہی ) میں سیڑھیاں چڑھ کر اندر گیا، تو میں نے کہا: رسول اللہ ﷺ نے کہاں نماز پڑھی ہے؟ لوگوں نے بتایا، یہاں، اور میں ان لوگوں سے یہ پوچھنا بھول گیا کہ آپ نے بیت اللہ میں کتنی رکعتیں پڑھیں؟۔
Abdul-Allah bin Umar radi Allah anhuma kehte hain ke woh Ka'bah ke pas pahunche aur Nabi-e-Akram صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, Bilal aur Asama bin Zaid radi Allah anhuma andar dakhil ho chuke the, aur (un ke andar jaate hi) Usman bin Talha radi Allah anhu ne darwaza band diya. To woh log kuchh dair tak andar rahe, phir unhon ne darwaza khola to Nabi-e-Akram صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم nikle (aur aap ke nikalte hi) main sairhiyan chadh kar andar gaya, to main ne kaha: Rasool-Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ne kahan namaz padhi hai? Logon ne bataya, yahan, aur main un logon se yeh poochhna bhul gaya ke aap ne Bait-ul-lah mein kitni rakatiyan padhen?
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ انْتَهَى إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ وَقَدْ دَخَلَهَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَبِلاَلٌ وَأُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَأَجَافَ عَلَيْهِمْ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ الْبَابَ فَمَكَثُوا فِيهَا مَلِيًّا ثُمَّ فَتَحَ الْبَابَ فَخَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَرَكِبْتُ الدَّرَجَةَ وَدَخَلْتُ الْبَيْتَ فَقُلْتُ أَيْنَ صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالُوا هَا هُنَا . وَنَسِيتُ أَنْ أَسْأَلَهُمْ كَمْ صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي الْبَيْتِ .
