Ibn Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) organized a horse race and sent them from Al-Hafya' and its finish line was Thaniyyat Al-Wada' and he organized a race for horses that had not been made lean, and the course stretched from Ath-Thaniyyah to the Masjid of Banu Zuraiq.

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ( حفیاء سے ثنیۃ الوداع تک ) گھوڑوں کی دوڑ کرائی ( کہ کون گھوڑا آگے نکلتا ہے ) ۱؎ حفیاء سے روانہ کرتے ( دوڑاتے ) اور ثنیۃ الوداع آخری حد تھی۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ان گھوڑوں میں بھی دوڑ کرائی جو محنت و مشقت کے عادی نہ تھے ( جو سدھائے اور تربیت یافتہ نہ تھے ) اور ان کے دوڑ کی حد ثنیۃ سے مسجد بنی زریق تک تھی ۲؎۔
Abdul-Allah bin Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aa se riwayat hai ke Rasool-Allah sall Allahu alaihi wa sallam ne (Hifaa se Thaniat-ul-Wada tak) ghooron ki dour karaayi (ke kon ghora aage nikalta hai) 1؎ Hifaa se rawana karte (dourate) aur Thaniat-ul-Wada aakhri had thi. Rasool-Allah sall Allahu alaihi wa sallam ne in ghooron mein bhi dour karaayi jo mehnat o mushqkat ke aadi nah the (jo sudhaye aur tarbiyat yaafta nah the) aur un ke dour ki had Thaniat se Masjid Bani Zareeq tak thi 2؎.
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَابَقَ بَيْنَ الْخَيْلِ يُرْسِلُهَا مِنَ الْحَفْيَاءِ وَكَانَ أَمَدُهَا ثَنِيَّةَ الْوَدَاعِ وَسَابَقَ بَيْنَ الْخَيْلِ الَّتِي لَمْ تُضْمَرْ وَكَانَ أَمَدُهَا مِنَ الثَّنِيَّةِ إِلَى مَسْجِدِ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ .
