Amr bin Shu'aib narrated from his father, that his grandfather said that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘the blood money for Ahl Adh-Dhimmah is half that of the blood money for the Muslims, and they are the Jews and Christians.’

عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”ذمیوں کی دیت مسلمانوں کی دیت کی آدھی ہے، اور ذمیوں سے مراد یہود و نصاریٰ ہیں“ ۔
Abdul-allah bin Amr ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a kahte hain ke Rasul-ullah Sall-Allahu alaihi wa sallam ne farmaya: "Zamiyon ki diyat musalmanon ki diyat ki adhi hai, aur zamiyon se murad yahud o nasara hain" 1؎.
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى، وَذَكَرَ، كَلِمَةً مَعْنَاهَا عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " عَقْلُ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ نِصْفُ عَقْلِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ " . وَهُمُ الْيَهُودُ وَالنَّصَارَى .
