Chapter: Al-Mutanammisat (The Women That Have Their Eyebrows Plucked)

باب الْمُتَنَمِّصَاتِ ‏‏

Sunan an-Nasa'i 5099

Abdullah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) cursed the women who do tattoos and the women who have them done, Al-Mutanammisat, and the women who have their teeth separated for the sake of beauty, those who change (the creation of Allah.)

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے گودنے والی، گودوانے والی، پیشانی کے بال اکھاڑنے والی، خوبصورتی کے لیے دانتوں کے درمیان کشادگی کروانے والی، اور اللہ تعالیٰ کی بنائی ہوئی چیز کو بدلنے والی عورتوں پر لعنت فرمائی ہے ۔

Abdul-allah bin Masood (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Rasool-Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne godne wali, godwane wali, peshani ke bal akhaadne wali, khubsoorti ke liye danton ke darmiyaan kashdaagi karwane wali, aur Allah Ta'ala ki banayi hui cheez ko badalne wali auraton par lanat farmaayi hai

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلاَّمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الْحَفَرِيُّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْوَاشِمَاتِ وَالْمُوتَشِمَاتِ وَالْمُتَنَمِّصَاتِ وَالْمُتَفَلِّجَاتِ لِلْحُسْنِ الْمُغَيِّرَاتِ ‏.‏

Sunan an-Nasa'i 5100

Ibrahim narrated that Abdullah ( رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, ‘the women who have their teeth separated...’ and he quoted the Hadith.

ابراہیم نخعی کہتے ہیں کہ عبداللہ بن مسعود نے ( «متفلجات للحسن» کے بجائے ) صرف «متفلجات» کہا اور حدیث بیان کی۔

Ibrahim Nakhai kehte hain ke Abdullah bin Masood ne ( "Mutfaljat lil Hasan" ke bajaye ) sirf "Mutfaljat" kaha aur Hadith bayan ki.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ الْمُتَفَلِّجَاتِ ‏.‏ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ ‏.‏

Sunan an-Nasa'i 5101

Aban bin Sam'ah narrated that his mother said that she had heard Ummul Momineen Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) say, ‘the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) forbade the woman who does tattoos and the woman who has that done, the woman who affixes hair extensions and the woman who has that done, An-Namisah (the one who does the plucking) and Al-Mutanammisah (the one who has it done).’

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے گودنے، گودوانے، بال جوڑنے، جڑوانے اور بال اکھاڑنے اور اکھڑوانے والی عورتوں کو ایسا کرے کرنے سے منع فرمایا۔

Umme-ul-Momineen Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) kehti hain ke Rasool Allah SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WASALLAM ne godne, godwane, bal jorna, jornawane aur bal akharne aur akhrawane wali auraton ko aisa karne se mana farmaya.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ صَمْعَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ، تَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الْوَاشِمَةِ وَالْمُسْتَوْشِمَةِ وَالْوَاصِلَةِ وَالْمُسْتَوْصِلَةِ وَالنَّامِصَةِ وَالْمُتَنَمِّصَةِ ‏.‏
