Chapter: The Adhan For One Who Is Combining Two Prayers After The Time Of The First Prayer Has Gone

باب الأَذَانِ لِمَنْ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الصَّلاَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ ذَهَابِ وَقْتِ الأُولَى مِنْهُمَا ‏

Sunan an-Nasa'i 656

It was narrated that Jabir bin 'Abdulla (رضئ للا تعالی عنہ) said: "The Apostle of Allah ( صلىللا عليه و آله وسلم) moved until he came to Muzdalifah, where he prayed Maghrib and 'Isha' with one Adhan and two Iqama, and he did not offer any prayer in between them."

جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہم کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اکرم ﷺ  ( عرفہ سے )  لوٹے یہاں تک کہ مزدلفہ پہنچے، تو آپ ﷺ نے ایک اذان اور دو اقامت سے مغرب اور عشاء پڑھائی، اور ان دونوں کے درمیان کوئی نماز نہیں پڑھی۔

Jaber bin `Abd-al-lah radi Allahu `anhum kehte hain ke Rasool-e-Akram salla Allahu `alayhi wa sallam (Arafat se) lote yeh tak ke Muzdalifah pahunche, to aap salla Allahu `alayhi wa sallam ne ek azan aur do iqamat se Maghrib aur `Isha padhi, aur in dono ke darmiyan koi namaz nahin padhi.

أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ دَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَتَّى انْتَهَى إِلَى الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ فَصَلَّى بِهَا الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَاءَ بِأَذَانٍ وَإِقَامَتَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ بَيْنَهُمَا شَيْئًا ‏.‏

Sunan an-Nasa'i 657

It was narrated that Sa'eed bin Jubair said concerning Ibn 'Umar (رضئ للا تعالی عنہ) : "We were with him (Ibn 'Umar - رضئ للا تعالی عنہ) in Jam' (Muzdalifah), and he called the Adhan, then the Iqamah, then he led us in praying Maghrib. Then he said : 'The prayer,' and he led us in praying 'Isha', two Rak'a. I said : 'What is this prayer?' He said: 'This is how I prayed with the Apostle of Allah (صلى للا عليه و آله وسلم) in this place.'"

سعید بن جبیر کہتے ہیں کہ ہم ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے ساتھ مزدلفہ میں تھے، تو انہوں نے اذان دی پھر اقامت کہی، اور ہمیں مغرب پڑھائی، پھر کہا: عشاء بھی پڑھ لی جائے، پھر انہوں نے عشاء دو رکعت پڑھائی، میں نے کہا: یہ کیسی نماز ہے؟ تو انہوں نے جواب دیا: میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ساتھ اس جگہ ایسی ہی نماز پڑھی ہے۔

Saeed bin Jubair kehte hain ke hum Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ke sath Mazdalifah mein thay, to unhon ne azan di phir iqamat kahi, aur hamen maghrib padhai, phir kaha: Isha bhi padh li jaaye, phir unhon ne Isha do rakat padhai, main ne kaha: ye kaisi namaz hai? to unhon ne jawab diya: main ne Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath is jagah aisi hi namaz padhi hai.

أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَهُ بِجَمْعٍ فَأَذَّنَ ثُمَّ أَقَامَ فَصَلَّى بِنَا الْمَغْرِبَ ثُمَّ قَالَ الصَّلاَةَ ‏.‏ فَصَلَّى بِنَا الْعِشَاءَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَقُلْتُ مَا هَذِهِ الصَّلاَةُ قَالَ هَكَذَا صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ ‏.‏
