Sunan an-Nasa'i 1608
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘when any one of you goes to sleep, the Satan ties three knots on his head, saying each time, ‘(Sleep) a long night’. If he wakes up and remembers Allah (جَلَّ ذُو), one knot is undone. If he performs wudu, another knot is undone. If he prays, all the knots are undone and he starts his day in a good mood and feeling energetic. Otherwise he starts his day in a bad mood and feeling lethargic’.

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پاس ایک آدمی کا ذکر کیا گیا جو رات بھر سوتا رہا یہاں تک کہ صبح ہو گئی، تو آپ نے فرمایا: یہ ایسا آدمی ہے جس کے کانوں میں شیطان نے پیشاب کر دیا ہے ۔
Abdul'lah bin Mas'ud (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Rasool Allah sal' Allahu alayhi wa sallam ke pass ek aadmi ka zikr kiya gaya jo rat bhar sota raha yahan tak ke subah ho gayi, to aap ne farmaya: yeh aisa aadmi hai jis ke kano mein shaitan ne peshab kar diya hai 1؎.
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ ذُكِرَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَجُلٌ نَامَ لَيْلَةً حَتَّى أَصْبَحَ قَالَ " ذَاكَ رَجُلٌ بَالَ الشَّيْطَانُ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ " .
