Sunan an-Nasa'i 1656
Abu Salama narrated that Ummul Momineen Umm Salama (رضي الله تعالى عنها) said, ‘By the One in Whose Hand is my soul. The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) did not pass away until most of his prayers were offered sitting down, except for the obligatory prayers, and the dearest of actions to him were those which were done persistently, even if they were few’.

ابن جریج سے روایت ہے کہ مجھے عثمان بن ابی سلیمان نے خبر دی ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ابوسلمہ نے انہیں خبر دی ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے انہیں خبر دی ہے کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ کا انتقال نہیں ہوا یہاں تک کہ آپ اپنی بیشتر نمازیں بیٹھ کر پڑھنے لگے تھے۔
Ibn Jareej se riwayat hai ke mujhe Usman bin Abi Sulaiman ne khabar di hai woh kehte hain ke Abu Salma ne unhen khabar di hai woh kehte hain ke Ayesha radiyallahu anha ne unhen khabar di hai ke Nabi akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka intikal nahin hua yahan tak ke aap apni beshtar namazain beth kar padhne lag gaye the.
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَمْ يَمُتْ حَتَّى كَانَ يُصَلِّي كَثِيرًا مِنْ صَلاَتِهِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ .
