Sunan an-Nasa'i 1665
Hudhaifah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated, ‘I prayed with the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) one night. He started to recite Al-Baqarah and I thought, he will bow when he reaches one hundred, but he carried on. I thought, he is going to recite the whole surah in one rak'a, but he carried on. He started to recite An-Nisa and recited (the whole surah), then he started to recite Aal-i- Imran and recited (the whole surah), reciting slowly. When he reached a verse that spoke of glorifying Allah (جَلَّ ذُو), he glorified Him. When he reached a verse that spoke of supplication, he made supplication. When he reached a verse that spoke of seeking refuge with Allah, he sought refuge with Him. Then he bowed and said, " َِّ ب ِّيَ الْعَظِّيمسُبْحَانَ ر [Glory be to my Lord Almighty] and he bowed for almost as long as he had stood. Then he raised his head and said, َِّّ ُ لِّمَنْ حَمسَمِّعَ َّللا ُدَه [Allah hears those who praise Him], and he stood for almost as long as he had bowed. Then he prostrated and started to say, َ ب ِّيَ األَعْلَىسُبْحَانَ ر [Glory be to my Lord Most High] and he prostrated for almost as long as he had bowed’.

حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ساتھ رمضان میں نماز پڑھی، تو آپ ﷺ نے رکوع کیا، اور یہ اتنا ہی لمبا تھا جتنا آپ کا قیام تھا، آپ نے اپنے رکوع میں «سبحان ربي العظيم» کہا، پھر آپ اتنی ہی دیر بیٹھے جتنی دیر کھڑے تھے، اور «رب اغفر لي رب اغفر لي» کہتے رہے، پھر آپ ﷺ نے اتنی دیر تک سجدہ کیا جتنی دیر تک آپ کھڑے تھے، اور «سبحان ربي الأعلى» کہتے رہے تو آپ نے صرف چار رکعتیں پڑھیں یہاں تک کہ بلال رضی اللہ عنہ صبح کی نماز کے لیے بلانے آ گئے۔ ابوعبدالرحمٰن نسائی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث میرے نزدیک مرسل ( منقطع ) ہے، میں نہیں جانتا کہ طلحہ بن یزید نے حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے کچھ سنا ہے، علاء بن مسیب کے علاوہ دوسرے لوگوں نے اس حدیث میں یوں کہا: «عن طلحۃ، عن رجل، عن حذیفۃ»۔
Hazifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se riwayat hai ke unhon ne Rasool Allah sallaAllahu alaihi wa sallam ke sath ramadan mein namaz padhi, to aap sallaAllahu alaihi wa sallam ne rukoo kiya, aur yeh itna hi lamba tha jitna aap ka qiyam tha, aap ne apne rukoo mein «Subhan Rabbi al-Azim» kaha, phir aap itni hi der baithe jitni der khare the, aur «Rab ighfir li Rab ighfir li» kahte rahe, phir aap sallaAllahu alaihi wa sallam ne itni der tak sajda kiya jitni der tak aap khare the, aur «Subhan Rabbi al-A'la» kahte rahe to aap ne sirf char rak'atein padhin yahaan tak ke Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) subah ki namaz ke liye bulane aa gaye. Abu Abdur Rahman Nasa'i kahte hain: yeh hadith mere nazdeek mursal (munqati) hai, main nahin jaanta ke Talha bin Yazid ne Hazifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se kuchh suna hai, Alaa bin Masi'b ke alawa dusre logo ne is hadith mein yun kaha: «An Talhat, an rajal, an Hazifa».
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، - ثِقَةٌ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلاَءُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، أَنَّهُ صَلَّى مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي رَمَضَانَ فَرَكَعَ فَقَالَ فِي رُكُوعِهِ " سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْعَظِيمِ " . مِثْلَ مَا كَانَ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ جَلَسَ يَقُولُ " رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي " . مِثْلَ مَا كَانَ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ سَجَدَ فَقَالَ " سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الأَعْلَى " . مِثْلَ مَا كَانَ قَائِمًا فَمَا صَلَّى إِلاَّ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ حَتَّى جَاءَ بِلاَلٌ إِلَى الْغَدَاةِ . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عِنْدِي مُرْسَلٌ وَطَلْحَةُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ لاَ أَعْلَمُهُ سَمِعَ مِنْ حُذَيْفَةَ شَيْئًا وَغَيْرُ الْعَلاَءِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ قَالَ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ .
