Sunan an-Nasa'i 2040
Alqamah bin Abi 'Alqamah narrated from his mother, that she heard Ummul Momineen Aishah (رضي الله تعالى عنها) saying that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) got up one night and got dressed, then he went out. I told my slave girl Barirah (رضي الله تعالى عنها) to follow him, so she followed him until he came to Al-Baqi. Then he stood near if for as long as Allah willed that he should stand, then he left. Barirah (رضي الله تعالى عنها) came back before he did and told me, but I did not mention anything until morning came, then I mentioned that to him. He said, 'I was sent to the people of Al-Baqi' to pray for them.’

بریدہ رضی الله عنہ روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ جب قبرستان آتے تو فرماتے: «السلام عليكم أهل الديار من المؤمنين والمسلمين وإنا إن شاء اللہ بكم لاحقون أنتم لنا فرط ونحن لكم تبع أسأل اللہ العافية لنا ولكم» ”اے مومن اور مسلمان گھر والو! تم پر سلامتی ہو، اور اگر اللہ تعالیٰ نے چاہا تو ہم ( عنقریب ) تم سے ملنے والے ہیں، تم ہمارے پیش رو ہو، اور ہم تمہارے بعد آنے والے ہیں۔ میں اللہ سے اپنے اور تمہارے لیے عافیت کی درخواست کرتا ہوں“۔
Bareedah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) Riwayat Karte Hain Ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Jab Qabristan Aate To Farmaate: «Assalamu Alaikum Ahlul Diyar Min al-Mumineen Wal-Muslimeen Wa Inna In Shaa Allah Bikum Lahiqoon Antum Lana Fart Wa Nahnu Lakum Taba As'al Allaha Al-Afiyah Lana Wa Lakum» "Aey Momin Aur Musalman Ghar Waloo! Tum Par Salamaati Ho, Aur Agar Allah Ta'ala Ne Chaha To Hum (Anqareeb) Tum Se Milne Wale Hain, Tum Hamare Peshro Ho, Aur Hum Tumhare Baad Aane Wale Hain. Main Allah Se Apne Aur Tumhare Liye Afiyat Ki Darakhwast Karta Hun".
أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرَمِيُّ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ إِذَا أَتَى عَلَى الْمَقَابِرِ فَقَالَ : " السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلَ الدِّيَارِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمِينَ، وَإِنَّا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ بِكُمْ لاَحِقُونَ، أَنْتُمْ لَنَا فَرَطٌ وَنَحْنُ لَكُمْ تَبَعٌ، أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَافِيَةَ لَنَا وَلَكُمْ " .
