Chapter: If The Muhrim Smiles And Somone Who Is Not In Ihram Takes The Hint That There Is Game, And He Kills It - May He (The Muhrim) Eat From It Or Not?

باب إِذَا ضَحِكَ الْمُحْرِمُ فَفَطِنَ الْحَلاَلُ لِلصَّيْدِ فَقَتَلَهُ أَيَأْكُلُهُ أَمْ لاَ

Sunan an-Nasa'i 2825
Yahya bin Abi Kathir narrated that Abdullah bin Abu Qatadah reported that his father told him that he went out with the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) on the campaign of Al-Hudaybiyah. He said, 'they entered Ihram for 'Umrah apart from me. I hunted an onager and fed my companions with it when they were in Ihram. Then, I went to the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and told him that we had some of its meat left over. He said (to his companions) eat, and they were in Ihram.’

ابوقتادہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ وہ غزوہ حدیبیہ میں رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ساتھ رہے، وہ کہتے ہیں کہ میرے علاوہ لوگوں نے عمرہ کا احرام باندھ رکھا ہے تھا۔ تو میں نے ( راستہ میں ) ایک نیل گائے کا شکار کیا اور اس کا گوشت اپنے ساتھیوں کو کھلایا، اور وہ محرم تھے، پھر میں رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پاس آیا اور آپ کو میں نے بتایا کہ ہمارے پاس اس کا کچھ گوشت بچا ہوا ہے، تو آپ نے ( لوگوں سے ) فرمایا: ”کھاؤ“، اور وہ لوگ احرام باندھے ہوئے تھے۔
Aboo Qatadah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke woh Ghazwah Hudaibiyah mein Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath rahe, woh kehte hain ke mere alawa logon ne Umrah ka Ihram bandh rakha tha. To maine (rasta mein) aik Neel gaae ka shikar kiya aur is ka gosht apne sathiyon ko khilaya, aur woh Mohrim thay, phir main Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass aaya aur aap ko maine bataya ke hamare pass is ka kuchh gosht bacha hua hai, to aap ne (logon se) farmaya: “khaow”, aur woh log Ihram bandhe hue thay.
أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّسَائِيُّ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصُّورِيُّ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ سَلاَّمٍ - عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ، غَزَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم غَزْوَةَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ - قَالَ - فَأَهَلُّوا بِعُمْرَةٍ غَيْرِي فَاصْطَدْتُ حِمَارَ وَحْشٍ فَأَطْعَمْتُ أَصْحَابِي مِنْهُ وَهُمْ مُحْرِمُونَ ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَنْبَأْتُهُ أَنَّ عِنْدَنَا مِنْ لَحْمِهِ فَاضِلَةً فَقَالَ " كُلُوهُ " . وَهُمْ مُحْرِمُونَ .
