Sunan an-Nasa'i 366
It was narrated that Ummul Momineen Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) said: Fatimah bint Abi Hubaish (رضي الله تعالى عنها) said to the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم): "O Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), I do not become pure. Should I stop praying?" The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said: "That is a vein and is not menstruation. When your period comes, stop praying, and when the same amount of time as your regular period has passed, then wash the blood from yourself and pray."

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ فاطمہ بنت ابی حبیش رضی اللہ عنہا نے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے عرض کیا: میں پاک نہیں رہ پاتی ہوں، کیا نماز ترک کر دوں؟ تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: یہ تو ایک رگ ( کا خون ) ہے حیض نہیں ہے، تو جب حیض آئے تو نماز ترک کر دو، اور جب اس کے بقدرگزر جائے تو اپنے بدن سے خون دھو لو، اور نماز پڑھو ۔
Umme-ul-Momineen Ayesha Razi Allahu Anha kahti hain ke Fatima bint Abi Hubaysh Razi Allahu Anha ne Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam se arz kiya: Main pak nahin rah pati hun, kya namaz tark kar dun? To Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya: Yeh to ek rag ( ka khoon ) hai haiz nahin hai, to jab haiz aaye to namaz tark kar do, aur jab uske badar guzar jaye to apne badan se khoon dho lo, aur namaz padho.
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَتْ فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ أَبِي حُبَيْشٍ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لاَ أَطْهُرُ أَفَأَدَعُ الصَّلاَةَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّمَا ذَلِكِ عِرْقٌ وَلَيْسَتْ بِالْحِيضَةِ فَإِذَا أَقْبَلَتِ الْحِيضَةُ فَدَعِي الصَّلاَةَ وَإِذَا ذَهَبَ قَدْرُهَا فَاغْسِلِي عَنْكِ الدَّمَ وَصَلِّي " .
