Sunan an-Nasa'i 4424
Abu Ubaid, the freed slave of Ibn Awf (رضئ للا تعالی عنہ) narrated, ‘I saw Ali bin Abi Talib (رضئ للا تعالی عنہ) honor his face on the day of Eid. He started with the prayer before the Khutbah, and then he prayed with no Adhan and no Iqamah. Then he said, ‘I heard the Apostle of Allah (صلى للا عليه و آله وسلم) forbidding anyone form keeping anything of his sacrificial animal for more than three days’.’

عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہ کے غلام ابو عبید کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے علی بن ابی طالب کرم اللہ وجہہ کو عید کے دن دیکھا، انہوں نے خطبے سے پہلے نماز شروع کی اور بلا اذان اور بلا اقامت پڑھی، پھر کہا: میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو منع فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ کوئی تین دن سے زیادہ اپنی قربانی میں سے کوئی چیز روکے رکھے، ( یعنی اسے چاہیئے کہ بانٹ دے ) ۔
Abdul Rahman bin Aouf (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke Ghulam Abu Ubaid kehte hain ke main ne Ali bin Abi Talib karam Allahu wajhuh ko Eid ke din dekha, unhon ne khutbe se pehle namaz shuru ki aur bila azan aur bila iqamat parhi, phir kaha: main ne Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko mana farmate huye suna ke koi teen din se zyada apni qurbani mein se koi cheez rok kar rakhe, (yani usse chahiye ke bant de) .
أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ غُنْدَرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ شَهِدْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ كَرَّمَ اللَّهُ وَجْهَهُ فِي يَوْمِ عِيدٍ بَدَأَ بِالصَّلاَةِ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ ثُمَّ صَلَّى بِلاَ أَذَانٍ وَلاَ إِقَامَةٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَنْهَى أَنْ يُمْسِكَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ نُسُكِهِ شَيْئًا فَوْقَ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ .
