Sunan an-Nasa'i 472
It was narrated that Abu Yunus, the freed slave of Ummul Momineen Aisha ( رضي الله تعالى عنها) the wife of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), said: Ummul Momineen Aisha ( رضئ اللهتعالی عنہا) asked me to copy a Mushaf for her, and she said: 'When you reach this verse, call my attention - حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّالَةِ الْوُ سْطَى [ Maintain (five times) Salah with care; and the middle Salah (in particular). Live in full submission in the way of Allah.] (Al-Baqara -238) When I reached it, I called her attention and she dictated to me: "Maintain (five times) Salah with care; and the middle Salah and Salat al-Asr. Live in full submission in the way of Allah.' Then she said: 'I heard it from the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).'

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے آزاد کردہ غلام ابو یونس کہتے ہیں کہ ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے مجھے حکم دیا کہ میں ان کے لیے ایک مصحف لکھوں، اور کہا: جب اس آیت کریمہ: «حافظوا على الصلوات والصلاة الوسطى» ( البقرہ: ۲۸۳ ) پر پہنچنا تو مجھے بتانا، چنانچہ جب میں اس آیت پر پہنچا تو میں نے انہیں بتایا، تو انہوں نے مجھے املا کرایا «حافظوا على الصلوات والصلاة الوسطى وصلاة العصر وقوموا لله قانتين» پھر انہوں نے کہا: میں نے اسے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے سنا ہے ۔
Am al-Mumineen Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ke azad karda ghulam Abu Yunus kehte hain ke Am al-Mumineen Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ne mujhe hukm diya ke main un ke liye ek Mushaf likhun, aur kaha: jab is aayat kareema: «Hifazu ala al-salawat wal-salat al-wastaa» ( al-Baqarah: 283 ) par pahunchna to mujhe batana, chananch jab main is aayat par pahuncha to main ne unhein bataya, to unhon ne mujhe imla karaya «Hifazu ala al-salawat wal-salat al-wastaa wa-salat al-asr wa-qumu lillah qanatin» phir unhon ne kaha: main ne ise Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se suna hai 1؎.
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي يُونُسَ، مَوْلَى عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ أَمَرَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ أَنْ أَكْتُبَ لَهَا مُصْحَفًا فَقَالَتْ إِذَا بَلَغْتَ هَذِهِ الآيَةَ فَآذِنِّي { حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلاَةِ الْوُسْطَى } فَلَمَّا بَلَغْتُهَا آذَنْتُهَا فَأَمْلَتْ عَلَىَّ حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلاَةِ الْوُسْطَى وَصَلاَةِ الْعَصْرِ وَقُومُوا لِلَّهِ قَانِتِينَ . ثُمَّ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم .
