Sunan an-Nasa'i 540
It was narrated from Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said : "If the people knew what (virtue) there was in the call to prayer and the first row and if they not find a way to get to do that other than by drawing lots, they would do that. If they knew what (virtue) there was in coming early to prayer, they would compete to be first in the Mosque. If they knew what (virtue) there was in Al-'Atamah (Isha) and Subh (Fajr), they would come to them even if they had to crawl."

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: اگر لوگ اس ثواب کو جو اذان دینے اور پہلی صف میں کھڑے ہونے میں ہے جان لیتے پھر اس کے لیے سوائے قرعہ اندازی کے کوئی اور راہ نہ پاتے، تو ضرور قرعہ ڈالتے، اور اگر لوگ جان لیتے کہ اول وقت نماز پڑھنے میں کتنا ثواب ہے، تو ضرور اس کی طرف سبقت کرتے، اور اگر انہیں معلوم ہوتا کہ عتمہ ( عشاء ) اور فجر میں آنے میں کیا ثواب ہے، تو وہ ان دونوں نمازوں میں ضرور آتے خواہ انہیں گھٹنے یا سرین کے بل گھِسٹ کر آنا پڑتا ۔
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se Riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Farmaya: Agar log is Sawab ko jo Azaan dene aur pehli Saf mein khare hone mein hai jaan lete phir is ke liye siwae Quraa Andazi ke koi aur raah nahin pate, to zarur Quraa daalte, aur agar log jaan lete ke Awwal Waqt namaz padhne mein kitna Sawab hai, to zarur is ki taraf Sabqat karte, aur agar unhen maloom hota ke Atama (Isha) aur Fajr mein aane mein kya Sawab hai, to woh in dono namazo mein zarur aate khaah unhen ghutne ya Sareen ke bal ghisht kar aana padta.
أَخْبَرَنَا عُتْبَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ سُمَىٍّ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لَوْ يَعْلَمُ النَّاسُ مَا فِي النِّدَاءِ وَالصَّفِّ الأَوَّلِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَجِدُوا إِلاَّ أَنْ يَسْتَهِمُوا عَلَيْهِ لاَسْتَهَمُوا وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُ النَّاسُ مَا فِي التَّهْجِيرِ لاَسْتَبَقُوا إِلَيْهِ وَلَوْ عَلِمُوا مَا فِي الْعَتَمَةِ وَالصُّبْحِ لأَتَوْهُمَا وَلَوْ حَبْوًا " .
