Sunan an-Nasa'i 629
It was narrated from Abu Mahdhura (رضئ للا تعالی عنہ) that the Prophet ( صلى للا عليه و آلهوسلم) sat him down and taught him the Adhan letter by letter. (One of the narrators) Ibrahim said, "It is like this Adhan of ours". I said : "Recite it to me." He said, ُ ََّّ ُ أَكْبَرُ َّللااللَّ ُأَكْبَر- [Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest], ُ َّأَشْهَدُ أَنْ الَ إِلَهَ إِالَّ َّللا- [I bear witness that there is there is no God except Allah] - twice. Then - ِ ََّ سُولُ َّللاأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا ر [ I bear witness that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah] - twice. Then he said in a lower voice which those around him could here - ُ َّأَشْهَدُ أَنْ الَ إِلَهَ إِالَّ َّللا [I bear witness that there is there is no God except Allah] - twice. َّأَشْهَدُ أَن ِ ََّ سُولُ َّللامُحَمَّدًا ر- [ I bear witness that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah] - twice. Then - ِحَىَّ عَلَى الصَّالَة[come to prayer] - twice; ِحَىَّ عَلَى الْفَالَح- [come to prosperity] - twice; َِّ ُ أَكْبَرُ الَ إِلَهَ إَّ ُ أَكْبَرُ َّللااللَّ ُ َّالَّ َّللا [Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, there is no God except Allah].

ابو محذورہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ نے انہیں بٹھایا، اور حرفاً حرفاً اذان سکھائی ( راوی ) ابراہیم کہتے ہیں: وہ ہمارے اس اذان کی طرح تھی، بشر بن معاذ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ان سے ( ابراہیم سے ) کہا کہ میرے اوپر دہراؤ، تو انہوں نے کہا: «اللہ أكبر اللہ أكبر» ۲؎ «أشهد أن لا إله إلا اللہ» دو مرتبہ، «أشهد أن محمدا رسول اللہ» دو مرتبہ، پھر اس آواز سے دھیمی آواز میں کہا: وہ اپنے اردگرد والوں کو سنا رہے تھے، «أشهد أن لا إله إلا اللہ» دو بار، «أشهد أن محمدا رسول اللہ» دو بار، «حى على الصلاة» دو بار، «حى على الفلاح» دو بار، «اللہ أكبر اللہ أكبر»،«لا إله إلا اللہ» ۔
Abu Mahdhoora (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se riwayat hai ke Nabi-e-Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen bithaya, aur harfan harfan azan sikhayi (Ravi) Ibrahim kehte hain: woh hamare is azan ki tarah thi, Bashar bin Mu'az kehte hain ke maine in se (Ibrahim se) kaha ke mere upar dohrao, to unhon ne kaha: «Allah Akbar Allah Akbar» 2 «Ashhadu An la ilaha illa Allah» do martaba, «Ashhadu Anna Muhammadan Rasoolullah» do martaba, phir is awaz se dhimi awaz mein kaha: woh apne ard-o-gard walon ko suna rahe the, «Ashhadu An la ilaha illa Allah» do bar, «Ashhadu Anna Muhammadan Rasoolullah» do bar, «Hayya al-as-Salat» do bar, «Hayya al-al-Falah» do bar, «Allah Akbar Allah Akbar», «La ilaha illa Allah».
أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي مَحْذُورَةَ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ، وَجَدِّي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ أَبِي مَحْذُورَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَقْعَدَهُ فَأَلْقَى عَلَيْهِ الأَذَانَ حَرْفًا حَرْفًا قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ هُوَ مِثْلُ أَذَانِنَا هَذَا . قُلْتُ لَهُ أَعِدْ عَلَىَّ . قَالَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَالَ - بِصَوْتٍ دُونَ ذَلِكَ الصَّوْتِ يُسْمِعُ مَنْ حَوْلَهُ - أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ حَىَّ عَلَى الصَّلاَةِ مَرَّتَيْنِ حَىَّ عَلَى الْفَلاَحِ مَرَّتَيْنِ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ .
